How to Build Solar Panels at Home.

If you are at all handy with some basic tools, you can easily build solar panels at home.
There is a technological breakthrough that makes solar panels less bulky. A thin film photovoltaic cell known as “amorphous silicon thin alloy", it is now the material being used to produce more efficient panels. The really thin cells are made to get different colors of sunlight in the spectrum and then layered to become extremely efficient at producing solar at home.
Kits are availabel where you can knock this out in a weekend. Take a look at some of them here.
As Seen in Popular Mechanics
Most all the parts are available at local stores, the kits just put it all together in one place. If you want to go it alone here is where you can get some plans for your solar panels at home.
So wether you use a Kit or just get some plans, you can use, don't let the idea of bulky panels deter you from putting solar
enegy to use.
